SAIEE Website procedure to log
on to the confidential “Member Area”
New Members Please follow the steps below:- 1.
Go to the SAIEE website: www.saiee.org.za 2.
Click on “Member Login” block on
the top of the homepage. 3.
Enter your SAIEE member number. eg 943 (Shown on your Invoice as
2006943. Strip off the date and enter the remaining number). 4.
Enter your email address. 5.
Click on “Send”. The system will
tell you that your password has been sent to you! 6.
In a few minutes look at your email
“Inbox” and you will find an email giving you a randomly compiled
new password of six numbers and letters eg 660bd5 7.
Write down the password in a safe place. 8.
Go back to the website. 9.
Go to the “Member Login” block. 10. Enter the your member number and new password. 11. If this is
your first try you will probably see “Member Area” and you can
then click on “Your Info” or “Member Search”. Existing Members Please follow the steps below:- 1. Go
to the SAIEE website: www.saiee.org.za

Click on “Member Login” block
on the top of the homepage. 3.
Enter your SAIEE Membership Number and Password and click on
Login. If these details are correct you will be taken back to the Homepage
where you may click on the Member Area link to access the Member Area. If
this is unsuccessful, your password is probably invalid and you will have to
go to the Homepage Member Login and “Forgotten Your
Password?” block to receive a new Password. 4.
If you already have a password saved in Windows
and you have now entered a new password, the system will advise you that the
password that you have just entered does not match the one that is saved in
Windows. It will ask if you want to change the password stored in Windows.
Click on “Yes”. 5.
If you still don’t see “Member
Area” then your e-mail address is probably wrong, in which case please
phone 011 487 4057 and ask Tracey to check your e-mail address alternatively
the Receptionist on 011 4873003. Please allow time after correcting your
address as the new information is only uploaded to the website once a week. 6.
When you arrive at your details please check
the information. 7.
To make corrections or enter new info please
click on the red button “Edit your details” (at the top right of
the page) and then enter missing info and correct any errors. Use the Tab key
to move around the page. 8.
When all info has been corrected click on “Update”
at the bottom of the page and the info will be sent to the membership
department at the Institute. Please allow a week before checking that the
changes have been uploaded to the SAIEE website. Should
