[POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE] SANS 10142 Part 1 & OHS Act - SAIEE Training Academy JHB

SANS 10142-1. 2017 Edition 2 & OHS ACT

SAIEE-2052-V, 2 CPD credits : Category 1

1. OVERVIEW

Because all electrical installations are governed by regulation and the relevant code is made mandatory through incorporation by name in section 44 of the Act, the course starts with the relevant sections of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (act 85 of 1993), that binds designers, installers, manufacturers, suppliers, users, distributors and others to its content. SANS 10142-1 has many requirements to which all and everything in an electrical installation shall comply.

The relevant sections of the OHS Act and the Code will be available for purchase on the day.

This course is very intense and interactive, and explanation will be made on the main differences between the OLD and NEW codes, as well as how to interpret and apply the new requirements
