Women‘s day, which takes place on 09 August 2022, pays tribute to more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 09 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women. A system meant to control women even further and reduce women to passive beings, at the mercy of men.
The country will celebrate this year’s Women’s Month under the theme: “Generation Equality: Realising Women’s Rights for an Equal Future”. This global campaign links South Africa to achieve global gender equality by 2030.
Join us in dialogue to create inspiration and motivation to end the gender gap. Our Panellists will share their experiences on the current state of gender equality in workplaces.
You will have the chance to share your thoughts and questions during this webinar. Register now, it’s free!
