COURSE OVERVIEW
Every electrical installation, including the fixed installation components, must comply with standards and regulations. All designers are required to understand these regulatory requirements to be able to have a safe and compliant installation. With this in mind, this course first explores and then clarifies the statutory requirements that changed in Edition 3, with which the designer must be familiar. Electricity in today’s world is essential but remains dangerous unless adequately designed and installed. The Code of Practice SANS 10142-1 is the standard to which all low-voltage electrical installations conform. The OSH Act clearly defines the varying degrees of responsibility. This course is designed to open all of these requirements to the delegates.
