The 10^th IEEE Southern Power Electronics Conference, SPEC 2025, offers an ideal opportunity for researchers, engineers, academics and students from all over the world to bring the latest technological advances and applications in Power Electronics to the Southern Hemisphere, as well as to network and promote the discipline.

Cutting edge researchers in this field will present keynote speeches during a four day programme that also features tutorials and technical sessions on theory, analysis, design, testing and advances within the field of power electronics.

• Taxis: For longer trips, taxis is an inexpensive alternative to walking. Usual fares within the city is under $5USD. With longer distances around $10-15USD. Ride sharing services such as Bolt or Uber are available.

• Minibus Taxis: For the more adventurous, this is the ubiquitous form of public transport in Sub-Saharan Africa. These minibuses are similar to taxis, and are a form of shared transportation, which means that drivers will pick up passengers at the roadside as long as there is room in the van. They run set routes that connect major areas around the city.

• Conference shuttles: shuttle busses can be arranged for those staying in various accommodation.
