SAIEE Communities
The South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) fosters professional development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing through its network of interest groups. SAIEE's structure is organised into Sections, each dedicated to a broad field within electrical and electronic engineering.
Within these Sections are specialised Chapters that focus on specific technical topics or areas of expertise. Together, the Sections and their Chapters provide members with opportunities to engage in focused discussions, attend events and webinars, and contribute to advances in their chosen fields.
To join the SAIEE community, you must first become a registered member of the SAIEE. Once your core membership is active, you are automatically eligible to participate in your local regional centre or specialised technical section.
To find the SAIEE communities, log into your profile, and you will look to the left of your screen, and the second icon from the top, below the 'home icon' is the 'communities icon'. Click on it, and you will find access to all SAIEE's Sections and Chapters.
