SAIEE University of Johannesburg (UJ) Student Chapter
The UJ student Chapter is an organisation composed of registered SAIEE student members. We are a sub-unit of the SAIEE Central Gauteng Centre, and our primary role is to introduce fellow students to the SAIEE, with the goal of creating an atmosphere that encourages them to join our student Chapter. We will host activities and events throughout the year to engage with our students and increase our visibility within the faculty.
The objective is to help students gain a greater appreciation for the electrical and electronic engineering profession and be better positioned to participate in the profession, either as employees or by forming their own companies.
Membership
Membership is free of charge and exclusively for registered students at the University of Johannesburg, pursuing a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
However, members need to register with the SAIEE Head Office in order to gain full membership benefits.
